The Adult 4.0 project consortium, consisting of educational and vocational training organizations from Germany, Italy, and Greece, aims to address the special qualification requirements for professionals in adult education due to the accelerated digitalization and changes caused by the pandemic.

The consortium intends to build synergies and provide upskilling opportunities for staff in adult education centers to improve their digital readiness and competencies, develop forward-looking learning centers, and better meet the needs and expectations of society.

The project will produce a best-practice handbook around three key themes: Artificial Intelligence AI in education, Digital literacy and protection & digital safety and The ability to interact, communicate and collaborate with others through the use of digital technologies and Problem solving when working with digital training format and educational tools. Furthermore the Adult 4.0 aims to promote cooperation and mutual growth in the sector.
